The owner and founder of Ahava Felicidad Hair and Body is a Montclair NJ native, certified aromatherapist and natural beauty and wellness specialist.
Ahava Felicidad Hair and Body has several divisions which include Felicidad Hair Sugar, Eclectic Extensions of AFHB, the Felicidad Signature Line, the Afro-Latina Cultural Workshop and Felicidad Media.

Any interns must be interested in holistic health & wellness, natural & organic lifestyles. Chemical free atmospheres. Some positions can be combined if skills are relevant, requested and work with schedules.
Here’s what we always need:
Marketing and sales interns to work on the Felicidad Hair Sugar line promotions, giveaways, writing descriptions of the sugars and characters (thru dictation) helping to write product descriptions, posting to Facebook, Instagram, twitter & other social media outlets and using Gmail and Constant Contact.
Must be able to attend events and would have the opportunity to be trained as a Felicidad Hair Sugar specialist (for presenting workshops or doing hair- not all will qualify), attend bi-weekly meetups and meetings while working to increase knowledge, educate and assist with the sales of natural products in our line & within the business.
Interns to run videos, script & write for video, telephone, email and in person interactions, make contacts with radio stations, magazines and news sources for features, promotions, and sales, create and maintain list for the same, as well as movie theaters contacts for collecting information on their advertising: finding natural events and family events for the team to attend and collect & disseminate all information required to fulfill applications. Write creative compelling press releases with guidance.
Interns to make direct business connections with naturals on social media for recruiting and filling team member positions: would also be responsible for creating and maintaining list of naturals and their contact information – includes active use of YouTube, Facebook & other sites where naturals frequent.
Interns to assist with the client intake process- set up contact cards, update client lists, send and receive email & make phone calls for new potentials and to retain current clients. Must be organized and love for type and have strong office skills to keep track of supply needs with owner, reach out to new clients and email national and international to build Facebook LIKES and engagement.
All interns must be efficient, fun and great at meeting deadlines.
